Dear Customers,
Microsoft has announced that the Windows Secure Boot certificate (PCA 2011) will begin expiring in June 2026. For details, refer to: Windows Secure Boot certificate expiration and CA updates – Microsoft Support
Systems are expected to boot normally after the certificate expires, even without updating it (as of this writing).
However, customers who wish to maintain Secure Boot protection beyond the PCA 2011 certificate expiration should perform the following updates:
- BIOS/UEFI firmware update to apply the CA 2023 certificate
- Windows Boot Manager update in accordance with Microsoft guidance
Those updates are applicable to Hyosung terminals with the following chipsets or platforms.
- Intel Q-series chipsets: Q87, Q170, Q370, Q670
- Intel H-series chipsets: H110, H310, H610
- System on a Chip (SoC):
- N2930 (SBC-210N/A341 boards), J6412 (SBC-250J/J6412T-IM-A boards)
- N97 (SBC-260J/N97T-IM-A boards), J1900 (A341 board)
